When are your worship services?

We have two worship services on Sunday mornings: an 8:30 traditional service and an 11:00 contemporary service.

What are your services like?

Our traditional service includes singing the great hymns of the faith and often liturgy such as the Apostles’ Creed and Lord’s Prayer. Our contemporary service uses the latest in contemporary Christian and is upbeat and engaging...the focus of the music, however, is on the message of who our God is and what He has done for us in Christ! People dress as they feel comfortable at both services, but the great majority of our people dress informally at the contemporary service. We celebrate communion the first Sunday of each month.

What ministries are available for children?

Every Sunday morning “Kid’s Worship” offers a dynamic and educational opportunity for children ages 4 years through 5th grade. Kid’s Worship time is provided during the 11:00 contemporary service. Wednesdays are more relaxed with plenty of time for play and team building. Kids break into grade level groups which offer study of Biblical principles and life applicable faith combined with fun hands-on activities. At SRPC children experience God’s love through a sense of belonging and family as they participate in the weekly activities. Kids learn and apply the truths of God’s Word in ways that are meaningful and life changing. They are encouraged to build a personal relationship with Christ. SRPC kids grow in their faith by demonstrating their love for Jesus through service to others.

What do you offer for teenagers?

The spiritual development taking place in our youth is one of our great joys! God is doing an awesome work. Visit our youth ministries page for details

Do you have small groups that meet?

Yes. Our small group ministry is called “Connections” and seeks to be a place where deeper friendships are formed and meaningful discipleship takes place. While several of our groups meet at different times throughout the week, we invite all new members to come on Sunday night to the Fellowship Hall in the Educational Building at 6:30….we meet briefly in a large group for informal fellowship before breaking into our small groups….we have a group for you!

What ministries are designed for senior citizens?

We have a number of opportunities. Our Wednesday Night Suppers are a great place to make supportive friends in Christian fellowship. We have a Sr. Shepherds luncheon the second Friday of each month (don’t meet during summer). A Women’s Bible study class on Thursday morning is designed for women of that age group. A Searchers class meets on Sunday mornings in the Fellowship Hall from 9:45 to 10:45 for Bible Study. To learn more, contact the church and ask to speak with our pastor.
